We are pleased to announce that Professor Robert Hindges has been appointed Managing Director of the CDN. Professor Hindges’ appointment comes as part of the reorganisation of the way the Centre is managed, and the new role was introduced last month.
In the new configuration, Professor Oscar Marín remains Director of the CDN, supported by Professor Hindges. The two will divide responsibilities for running the department with Professor Marín focussing on strategic oversight and planning and Professor Hindges focussing on the operational management and maintenance of the Centre. The move comes in response to the evolving requirements of running an academic department and will allow a more streamlined and efficient approach.
