Benedikt's credo as teacher is that his students should feel the pulse of research, and that textbook knowledge is never so complete to not ask new questions. Benedikt tries to live up to this in his lectures for both undergraduate and MSc students. Outside King’s, he has served as guest faculty at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa and the Ricardo Miledi Neuroscience Programme amongst others. Benedikt supervises PhD and Master students from all over the world.
