Since January 2011, the CDN has actively tracked the career outcomes of our Postdoctoral Researchers, PhD students and Technicians, with the aim of understanding how competitive our research staff and students are on the job market and to improve our training and career development support to reflect the career paths that our staff and students pursue.
The overwhelming majority of our Postdoctoral Researchers, PhD students and Technicians are fully employed, the majority have continued in academia, whilst some have also transitioned to industry, teaching, and other (government, non-profit) careers.
